Imagine sci-fi characters as everyday Malaysians. Spock is your cool lecturer on the sciences, Ellen Ripley's the badass girl you have a crush on, and Darth Vader is a leader with a villainous whiff about him. 'Are We Lost' features local works which meld Malaysia's rich history of folklore with famous sci-fi characters and present them as reinventions of typically Malaysian patterns and shapes.
