Nando’s Malaysia launched the eighth edition of its annual art competition earlier this year. To mark the occasion, the brand also officially unveiled its latest effort in support of the Nando’s Art Initiative (which is now an independent project that focuses on nurturing young, emerging artists and showcasing their work): a contemporary, creative space called LOT123.
The artistic platform is located at Nando’s Chinatown outlet – previously home to the restaurant chain’s headquarters – where an entire floor has been converted to serve as a gallery for new Malaysian artists. Dedicated to encourage aspiring talents to host their own exhibition or participate in a collective show, the brand won’t be incurring commission on any pieces sold. On top of that, you can look forward to workshops and event mentorship programmes Nando’s plans to host in the near future.
