Nestled in the vibrant Golden Triangle district, The St. Regis Jakarta opened in 2022 – a 17-storey project created by a panel of international designers such as Alexandra Champalimaud, Bill Bensley and Indonesia's Eddy Susanto. The result? An opulent display of luxury fused with Indonesian heritage through music and art.
The arrival lobby is more music hall with its theatrical layout, including a grand piano taking centre stage on the main stairs. Guests will also notice elements of batik throughout the hotel, from the framed canting stamp used to print patterns in the rooms, to the iconic parang batik motif – one of the culture's oldest – beautifully carved into a stairway wall leading to the bar.
Expect all the signature rituals to be present including the evening champagne sabrage, and retire into gilded rooms with jewel-toned furnishings for a dramatic flourish.
