Souq promises a unique shopping experience with a selection of products by small, independent brands
What started as a pop-up shopping event called Souq (from the Arabic word for “bazaar”) has grown into one of the hottest shopping spots in Karaköy called Souq Dükkan. Some of the permanent brands found in the shop are Karaköy’s first record shop Pantheon, terrarium masters Müz, design studio Bravoistanbul, and Ece Sükan Vintage. The owners wanted to keep the jewelry and accessories exclusive to Souq, which means you won’t find the Rumisu shawls sold here anywhere else in Turkey. Owner Yaprak Aras intends to keep hosting its thematic bazaars at the new location, which has a section devoted to guests. Here, the shop occasionally spotlights an individual brand or a selection from that month’s bazaar. Souq Dükkan also hosts different workshops during the week as well as teaming up with innovative brands like Gastronomika and Gaia Gallery.
Currently, it's located in Kanyon.
