There are plenty of Sultanahmet Köftecisi restaurants in Istanbul, but the original is the Tarihi Sultanahmet Köftecisi, and is predictably in Sultanahmet. The restaurant which has another branch on the Asian side, continues to protect its popularity despite the numerous imitation restaurants in the city.
