Despite not being on the water, Takanik still hosts the real seafood experience, with mezzes and main courses that could rival many larger restaurants. There is, however, no alcohol served. With the food they serve, the clean little venue, and the service, this is a cute, unpretentious, little, family restaurant. The fish is brought in fresh every day to Takanik 2. The mezzes are also prepared daily. The chef’s recommendations include fish soup, stuffed mussels, crab legs, and salicornia.
