This new eatery is perfect for those bored of eating the same foods or just craving a home-cooked meal. There’s a daily changing menu prepared by Ceylan Çarmıklı Pekün, an accomplished chef who honed her skills at restaurants in Tuscany, Piedmont and New York before opening up Noon Spoon. Here she serves Turkish fare with a decidedly Western touch, as is the case with the celery salad featuring oranges and apricots and the pumpkin muhallebi (milk pudding). The menu consists of soups, mezes, salads, main courses and desserts. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better option for lunch in the Levent neighborhood.
