La Petite Maison is a restaurant whose fame has spread from its original location in Nice, to its subsequent branches in London and Dubai – popular spot for seasoned travelers. Earlier this summer, La Petite Maison opened its newest location at the historic and majestic Maçka Palas. Equally as well known for its name as its motto “Tous célèbres ici” (“Everyone’s a celebrity here”) it thus ensures a flock of well-dressed customers. At lunchtime, it feels like a clubhouse for white-collar executives, while dinnertime welcomes a more dressed up clientele.
La Petite Maison serves flavors from Nice, Côte d’Azur and the neighboring Liguria region – as well as Mediterranean cuisine. The lemon and tomatoes you’ll see on each table symbolize its light and simple culinary concept, and they also get plenty of mileage in the kitchen – from the fresh pastas to seafood and meat dishes. The restaurant itself defines its menu as “adapted, people-friendly and light.” Freshness is key in the muted French fare, so it’s no surprise that the menu is frequently updated to maintain a sense of novelty. About 70% of the menu is comprised of dishes served at other La Petite Maison branches around the world, with the rest reserved for local flavors. The most popular items on the menu are the artichoke tapenade with almonds, quinoa salad, Niçoise salad, grilled leg of lamb dressed with herbs and spices, entrecote, grilled liver and black cod. For dessert, you can choose from favorites like pain perdu with ice cream or crème brûlée. Although La Petite Maison serves mostly French wines, you’ll also find boutique Turkish brands on the menu.
Designed by architectural firm Sagrada with lighting provided by designer Thierry Dreyfus, the venue draws you in with its stunning bar, extremely high ceilings, a painting by Bedri Baykam and exclusively designed lighting. With the perfect combination of comfort and elegance, La Petite Maison simply feels good to be in.
Also, a private wine-tasting room will be open for special events and tasting sessions in September, and a brand new bar menu blending spices from Provence and local flavors will also be unveiled.
