Not actually run by an Italian chef named Giovanni, the restaurant’s name can actually be attributed back to Mozart’s opera entitled ‘Don Giovanni’. The menu at Giovanni consists solely of 38 wood-fired pizzas created by chef Yüksel Aziz and cooked in a stone oven. Though they may taste odd to those accustomed to tomato-paste heavy American pizzas, for those who prefer the Italian variety, they are perfect. The ingredients listed in the menu are exactly what you’ll find on the pizza, so if tomato paste isn’t listed in the menu, then don’t be surprised when your pizza doesn’t have any. A fixed menu is served on football days. Both local and imported wines are listed on their extensive wine menu.
