Istanbulites are getting ready to reunite with their beloved duo, Erlend Øye and Erik Glambek Bøe. Known for their delicate and melancholic pop songs featuring calm and smooth vocals, the duo will once again take the stage with their guitars. However, this time, they will be accompanied by a drummer and a bassist on some tracks. Kings Of Convenience achieved great success with their 2009 album Declaration of Dependence and made a long-awaited comeback in 2021 with Peace or Love. The duo, who gave us unforgettable songs like Know How, Misread, I’d Rather Dance with You, and Mrs. Cold, continue to blend their inspirations from artists such as Nick Drake, Simon & Garfunkel, and Caetano Veloso with the enchanting atmosphere of their northern homeland.
