Antonio Sanchez and Migration

Even the most devoted Iñárritu fans would agree that Birdman wouldn’t have had the same effect had it not been for the breathtaking drum solos playing in the background of the movie. The composer of these drum sections, Mexican jazz drummer Antonio Sánchez is in Istanbul to perform tracks from his 2007 debut Migration, which also featured collaborations with the likes of Pet Metheny, Chick Corea and Chris Potter.
