Masters of Cinema in Turkey: Lütfi Akad

Istanbul Modern pays tribute to Ömer Lütfi Akad, one of the founding directors of Turkish cinema, with an exhibition featuring set photos, original screenplays, film frames and movie posters from Akad movies such as Vurun Kahpeye (Strike the Whore, 1949), Hudutların Kanunu (Law of the Border, 1966) and Vesikalı Yarim (My Prostitute Love, 1968).
