Please note: This museum is closed for renovations until Dec 29, 2013. Once the palace of İbrahim Paşa, the grand vizier to Süleyman the Magnificent, the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum now holds an extensive collection of carpets, calligraphy, woodwork, stonework and ceramic, glass and metal objects – more than 40,000 pieces from every era of Islamic history.
