Prisoners of Correct History

Salt Beyoğlu hosts an exhibition by the Bangladeshi-British artist and historian Naeem Mohaiemen, whose films and installations examine the turbulent postcolonial journey of Bangladesh by utilising newsreel footage and found photographs. The exhibition spreads across two floors in Salt Beyoğlu as well as the ground floor Walk-in Cinema, where ‘Tripoli Cancelled’, a 2017 experimental film by Mohaiemen, will be screened at programmed times.
