Elgiz Museum

The Elgiz Museum was founded in 2001 by Sevda and Can Elgiz with a mission to support the development of contemporary art in Turkey by providing space as well as international visibility to projects by emerging artists. Turkish and international art are exhibited side by side in the museum to emphasize not only the importance and excellence of Turkish artists but also to facilitate their globalization and their integration of their works into foreign collections.
