Completed in 1856, Dolmabahçe Palace was home to the last of the Ottoman sultans. The palace also served as Atatürk’s summer residence and was where he spent the final days before his death. The sumptuous decor includes the largest crystal chandelier in the world, bearskin rugs and paintings by some of the most famous artists of the time.
