Take your kids down south of Tel Aviv to Menachem Begin park to discover a whimsical place, bursting with summer activities from wakeboarding to waterskiing to surfing. It’s all here in this oasis – a place that you will be so happy to discover. Summertime vibes are here for kids who can swim, starting from age 7. They also have a canteen, so you can sip some Slurpees and take in the California vibes. Surf camp sessions are also available for a range of ages.
Located on the Yarkon River, this rowing center is not only the home of the national Olympic and Paralympic team but also a leader in a wide range of activities from rowing to sailing to kayaking. You won’t believe that this outdoor gym is free. Full of gym equipment and monkey bars, the Sportek, located in Park Hayarkon, is the perfect way to spend the day. They have a race track, basketball courts, and even a rollerblading area. If you don’t mind spending a bit of money, next door there are trampolines, a humongous climbing facility by Iclimb and little cars to rent for kids. Be prepared to spend the day outside. Bring some food and even make a picnic day out of the activities.
