March's hottest hand-picked events

The Israeli Andalusian Orchestra of Ashdod pays homage to the mountain and desert with a festival featuring the Berber tribal spirit and Moroccan folk music. Entitled "Voices roaming", the month-long event features two Israeli musicians Ester Rada and Neta Elkayam, both combining inspiring, multidisciplinary works with Andalusian influences and entirely fresh rhythms, colors and shifting cultural sounds.

EPOS, the International Film and Arts Festival, is Israel's first film festival dedicated entirely to encounters between the various arts and cinema. The wide selection of the festival's films will be screened in cinemas, museums and other cultural institutions across Israel.

For the first time in Israel, Jeff Koons, one of the world's most influential and famous American artists, will exhibit at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art this March. The artwork of Jeff Koons is considered one of the most expensive in the art world, and he consistently breaks sales and visitor records at his exhibitions in the world's largest and most celebrated museums. This March, Jeff Koons will be coming to Israel for the first time, for his solo opening at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.

March 20 - October 2020

The Jewish Agency's Photography Exhibit titled “One to Ninety” is being displayed at the Ben Gurion Airport, depicting the story of the agency as it celebrates its 90th anniversary this year. Since its establishment nine decades ago, The Jewish Agency has stood at critical junctures in the history of the Jewish People and the State of Israel. The exhibition presents a series of photographs and personal stories that represent the history of the Jewish People and the country.

Millions of visitors in more than fifty cities around the world have got to watch the wonder that Van Gogh - The Exhibition and now it has arrived in Israel this January. Vincent van Gogh has been celebrated for more than 150 years as one of the world's most influential modern artists of all time. Having been exhibited in the most prestigious museums throughout the world, van Gogh's latest showcase will be in the arena complex of Herzliya.

The Design Museum of Holon & the Holon Mediatheque present an exhibition surrounding the past decade in the face of time, ten years after the museum's first-ever exhibition A decade ago, in 2010, the Design Museum of Holon presented The State of Things, an exhibition that featured more than 100 objects that reflected the issues of consumption culture and its impact on international design.

As we see more and more special jazz nights popping up on the regular, we have rounded up our favorites, giving you the opportunity to take a hit of the stuff any night of the week. In one of the oldest districts in Tel Aviv, adjacent to the Carmel Market, Nahalat Binyamin Street has a wonderful now-not-so-well-known secret, which makes itself known twice a week. Every Tuesday and Friday, the Arts and Crafts Fair brings around 220 artists together as they attempt to sell their works. Each artist has a regular stall, so if you like the look of a piece of art, but don’t want to buy it just yet, you can always come back to the same spot next week to think again – although be careful, it may have already been snagged by another member of Tel Aviv’s art-hungry community.
