Sufganiyot Season: Find out where to pick up Israel's most decadent donuts

Ahead of Chanukah, Biscotti is launching a collection of airy sufganiyot inspired by the all-time beloved Israeli snacks. Alongside the classic strawberry jam-filled donuts, or Dulce de Leche and chocolate, Biscotti made new handmade donuts with fillings and toppings that all pay homage to the Israeli sweet and savory snack.

Among the special donuts:

• Bamba - Donut filled with peanut-butter cream, white chocolate topping, and bamba crumble

• Krembo - Donut filled with meringue cream, dark chocolate coating, and thin meringue sticks decoration

• Pretzel - Donut filled with salted caramel cream, nougat and crumble topped with bits of pretzel on top

Boutique Central is preparing for Hanukkah and also, the Novy God celebrations with baked and airy brioche sufganiyot (donuts) in a variety of classic fillings such as strawberry jam, walnut chocolate, vanilla crème patisserie, and Dulce de Leche.  Alongside the donuts and as a tribute to over a million Russian origin Israelis celebrating the Russian New Years (Novy God), the chain is launching a festive donut cake filled with Dulce de Leche and sour cream, topped with yellow meringue kisses, a take-off on the Russian Romashka cake inspired by the chamomile flower.

This year the beloved chain created a special collection inspired by Cubism- the European lead avant-garde art movement- by featuring the donut as a rounded structure with a square, a vibrantly colorful surface with a unique flavor combing a plethora of the elements above, allowing for different perspectives simultaneously.

The new sweet donuts collection includes:

• Gianduja Chocolate - Chocolate donut with a high cocoa percentage and a hazelnut aroma, decorated with a chocolate coating, nuts, and macaroon

Chef Timor Lavi and the Dallal team collaborated with the legendary Batsheva Dance Company to present an uncompromising collection for the 2019 Hanukkah season with 5-star dancers from the company representing the different delicious fillings: Pistachio, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and milk jam.
