Time Out says

Located in the heart of the colorful, lively Jaffa flea market, Al Ashi is a unique culinary experience. Chef Salah Kurdi combines modern cooking techniques with family recipes passed down through the generations. The stone building Al Ashi is housed in is the perfect blend of the old and the new, filled with antique tools, scattered spices and pickle jars. Though the lamb chops are not to be missed, there are also vegetarian and vegan options available. Dessert options include regional treats such as stuffed figs and halva.
