The Top Exhibits at the Jerusalem Science Museum

"Leonardo what’s your story", an exhibition for the whole family to mark the 500th anniversary of the passing of the artist and Renaissance man Leonardo da Vinci, which sheds light on Leonardo, who is considered by many to be the most curious man in the world. The exhibition presents over 40 displays and installations in various subjects, including anatomy and the human body, botany and geology, aviation, mechanics, optics and drawing. The exhibits are mostly interactive and invite visitors to ask questions and experiment. Alongside the exhibition, there will be a variety of activities for parents and children, such as a flying machine building workshop, guided tours, and an experience workshop.

LIVE podcast - "Bits" with Leonardo - during the exhibition, a series of adult evening events: LIVE podcast “Bits” with Leonardo. The podcaster Yuval Malhi will host different people, researchers and designers from various disciplines who will follow Leonardo's sketches, legacy, and research, which inspired so many until this very day.

Researchers Night – Researchers Night, September 19th (between 16:00-22:00) the European Researchers Night for 2019 will be held in the museum under the title "An Industry of Ideas”. The event will include workshops, tours, and meetings with researchers and activities for the whole family. Free admission.

Renaissance Costume parade - A unique costume parade that will take place during the Sukkot holidays. The parade will showcase mechanical costumes in the festive spirit made of materials such as cardboard, fabric and leather; combined with surprising visual installations. The parade will be integrated into "Leonardo's Theater", and it will be acted twice a day by actors around the museum several times a day.

Jerusalem Mini Maker Fair - The Makers Fair returns to the Museum (November 28-29) for the eighth year, and will host dozens of Israeli makers who will present colorful, unique and interactive projects. The projects are crazy inventions, the result of outside-the-box thinking and design, by designers and artists who use innovative and advanced technology, surprising music and recycled materials.
