Michelin Star Chef Daniel Corey of San Francisco's Luce restaurant crafts his epicurean delights in Tel Aviv for one week only.
The InterContinental David Tel Aviv is bringing back their acclaimed "Taste of Michelin" Festival this year with Michelin star Chef Daniel Corey of Luce restaurant at the InterContinental San Francisco. The festival follows the success of last year’s sold-out event, which hosted three Michelin star chefs from Marseille, Berlin and Amsterdam, whereby each chef prepared cuisine inspired by their own interpretation of the Israeli culinary scene.
From January 8-14, the second annual food fest will take guests on a flavorful and fresh gastronomic journey at the InterContinental David's Aubergine restaurant with Chef Daniel Corey at the helm. Since Luce's opening in 2008, it has earned its ninth consecutive Michelin star and numerous honors. Chef Corey will bring his West Coast-tinged inspiration our way with a stunning menu of epicurean delights.
Foodies looking for a truly all-star experience will be treated to seasonal ingredients championing California cuisine with a unique Mediterranean flair. The five-course meal includes an amuse bouche of Jerusalem artichoke mouse with green apple, hazelnut and cocoa plus highlights of hand cut beef tartar with garlic and a confit of egg yolk over wild rice; and poached sea bass in butternut squash olive oil. Options for wine pairings are also available.
“Chef Corey’s world renowned culinary innovations are known to incorporate the latest techniques and freshest ingredients and we are excited to share that with the Aubergine guests,” says InterContinental David Tel Aviv General Manager David Cohen.
