Inviting fans from across Israel and all around the globe, Tel Aviv is hosting a promo event for the greatest Eurovision event Israel has ever seen.
In response to the escalating excitement for Israel’s Eurovision song contest and Israeli contestant Netta Barzilai’s rise to the world’s top winning gamble, The Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality decided to hold a celebration. The contest will be the biggest Eurovision event the State has known since hosting the competition in Jerusalem in 1999.
Preparing for this year’s Eurovision this May in Lisbon, Israel Calling 2018 will be the third consecutive year of the promotional event. After two hugely successful years, more than 30 artists, representing three-quarters of the 2018 Eurovision contestants, will come to Israel.
The main show, which used to take place at the HaTheatron club, was relocated this year to Rabin Square. Gather with Eurovision fans in Israel and abroad, for the public opening show April 10.
