A Purim event at Tel Aviv's Beit Ariela Library is inspired by the masterpiece Mary Poppins, by Pamela Travers
Beit Ariela Library is getting festive with a special, colorful and imaginative activity for the whole family on the Israeli version of Halloween, Purim.
Come with us to Cherry Orchard Lane, we'll meet figures dressed as Mary and Bert, we'll make Mary rattles and pop-up books, we'll play bowling penguins, we'll take photos with Mary Poppins, we'll feel like chimney sweepers with special games, we'll watch a performance by the Papillon Theater and there will also be a make-up corner, magic, quizzes, movie screenings, a funny bowling competition and more surprises.
In honor of the event, the library will be decorated with characters from the beloved book and actors dressed as characters from Mary Poppins will walk around the library, and more.
