Jaffa Jazz Festival

This September over 50 musicians will join together to fill Jaffa with the rhythms, melodies, and magic of jazz. This year’s annual Jaffa Jazz Festival pays homage to Israeli radio broadcaster and jazz enthusiast Danny Karpel, and includes a lineup of 8 international performers and dozens of leading Israeli musicians. The festival is divided into 12 thematic shows, including performances dedicated to legends like Dave Brubech and Charles Mingus, and two evenings of jam sessions starting past midnight and going into the morning.
