The Palmach Museum is an experimental museum, using stories of individuals and groups to tell the Palmach legacy. Visitors hear personal accounts of young Palmach recruits from its establishment through the end of the War of Independence. The innovative presentation contains no displays or documents. Instead, visitors interact with three-dimensional décor, films, and various other effects, creating a truly unique museum going experience. The museum is also special in its ability to open the minds of those who lived the events, rather than just telling the history. The tour must be arranged ahead of time, and is only for children over the age of six.
