Time Out says

The Agam Art Museum is dedicated to Israeli experimental artist and sculptor Yaacov Agam. Agam's best-known work stems from optical art and kinetic artwork, of which he is one of the leading figures in the world. His iconic “Fire and Water Fountain” brought color and verve to Kikar Dizengoff for years until being torn down for renovations. The museum displays the 89-year-old's life work, which includes pieces spanning over six decades of his life. The building itself, designed by architect David Nofar, takes up 3,200 square meters and also includes a gorgeous outdoor sculpture garden. Agam's collection is impressively diverse, and includes works of a variety of media such as sound works, screenings, and also interactive digital works. Agam's artistic vision focuses on themes such as what he has termed the 4th dimension (aka the time dimension), Jewish symbolism, and perception of expectations versus reality.
