Living in a country that has been actively at war for the entire time it has existed, and where serving in the army is compulsory, causes a large swath of Israelis to have experienced traumas due to terror and war. For those who have been affected by such traumas, NATAL is here to help. They are an apolitical organization whose sole purpose is to advance the resiliency of Israeli society through treatment, prevention, public awareness and research. To date, this inspiring nonprofit has aided over 230,000 men, women and children.
