Museum on the Seam is a social museum of contemporary art located on the physical-geographical seam between East and West Jerusalem, at the intersection of the three religions. The museum, in its unique way, showcases art as a boundless language, in order to raise public social issues and bridge gaps in Israeli society. The changing exhibitions in the museum deal with social issues such as: environment and sustainability, the implications of the capitalist economy, questions of public conscience, the loneliness of the individual in the age of technology, gender violence and humans’ attitude towards animals. The museum is a five-minute walk from the Mea She'arim neighborhood and the Old City. The museum's rooftop overlooks the spectacular views of Jerusalem, and offers a café, a library, and a space for events.
