Though it’s usually a residential area most of the year, the neighbourhood comes alive this one day in March as part of the annual festivities dedicated the God of the Sea, Hung Shing. The festival kicks off with a parade in the morning featuring a spectacle of costumes and drumming performances, an 18-lion dance performance in the afternoon and the highlight of the event: a 500ft illuminated dragon dance at night.
