Turns out December isn't just about Christmas. For those looking for something that is a little less festive to do, we suggest you head to the NextGenHK exhibition curated by award-winning illustrator Jonathan Jay Lee.

The exhibition, which will be held at Soho House Hong Kong’s House Studio, will be open to the public (free admission) from December 3 to 12 from 11am-7pm in Sheung Wan. The collection features over a hundred pieces of artwork by 30 locally trained young artists and illustrators, as well as limited-edition products, and will be showcased to celebrate the art of illustration and the community’s perseverance through a particularly challenging graduate year.

NextGenHK exhibition: Prepper's Delight by Steven Ho

Themes and topics that have inspired the art range from the outbreak, nature, sci-fi and horror. While featured artists, who are all students of Lee, including Steven Ho, Julia Marinelli, Helen Wong, Kristy Hon, Gaby Teresa, and many more. Make sure to check out the exhibition, but also be sure to look out for these budding artists in the years to come.
