This October, one of Korea’s most celebrated chefs, chef Yim Jun-sik, will be holding a series of pop-ups at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. From October 3 to 4, he’ll be whipping up modern Korean dishes like beef tenderloin and truffle cold soup noodles as well as assorted special gimbab rolls, and pairing them with exquisite Champagnes ($3,988 per person) at The Krug Room. For a delightful weekend affair, drop by Mandarin Grill + Bar on October 5 to savour chef Yim’s menu full of refined creations such as char-grilled abalone with smoked kimchi, beef tartare toast with caviar, or grouper with mushroom broth.
