With escape rooms across Hong Kong in Causeway Bay, Central, and Mong Kok, amongst other locations, Lost is now open at The Pulse in Repulse Bay and offers seven different game rooms across 10,000sq ft of space. Lost at The Pulse has three escape game rooms for live-action role-playing and four escape rooms, while Lost Junior, a sister line created for first-time escapers from ages 6 to 14, make its first appearance on Hong Kong Island here too ($160 per person).
For the role-playing games ($250 per person), each player is assigned a character and given scripts. One of which is 'The Will', a murder mystery in which the idea is to solve it by searching for clues and investigating to find the murderer, all the while playing your part in the storyline. The role-play escape game is designed for four to eight participants playing together and each game will have a time limit of 60 minutes. With all the props and plot twists, this is a great game for those who enjoy feigning their innocence and want to brush up their acting skills too.
As for the escape rooms, there are two that are limited to The Pulse (Monday to Thursday $170 per person; Friday to Sunday and PH and day before PH $200 per person) including 'Nemesis' which is based on an out of control biological virus disaster scenario, and a mid-19th century Industrial Revolution based game called 'Charles Babbage' in which you have to find clues and solve riddles to escape the room. Some games are harder than others, with a need to put your mathematical cap on, but it's a whole lot of fun all the same and you can get your heart pumping with the urgency to escape. A fantastic activity for groups of friends and family to do together.
