It’s a small and humble community enterprise but a worthy one nonetheless. A relatively common sight in Western countries, the food sharing community shelf is a concept where anyone can just share and take food items that are placed on it. It not only benefits the homeless and low-income families but helps reduce waste – however small it may feel. Obviously, the food you share should not be out of date and unopened.
