Time Out says

This autumn, Freespace presents a three-month encounter of dance and movement that features innovative performances by regional artists. The online events include With/out Umeda, a digital showcase of works by Japanese choreographer and multidisciplinary artist Hiroaki Umeda devised in response to the new (and current) reality of travel restrictions and social distancing; and Hong Kong Dance Company’s new performance Convergence that – along with a live and immersive VR video experience – offers new perspectives on movement through the lens of Chinese dance and martial arts. While The Battle is a live performance featuring cross-genre blend of dance off and theatrical performance. The programme also includes a range of master classes, movement and graffiti workshops, a mural project and other activities.

About Freespace
Freespace is Hong Kong’s new centre for contemporary performance in the heart of the Art Park in the West Kowloon Cultural District, presenting multi-genre performances and events. Freespace houses The Box, one of the largest black box theatres in Hong Kong, a flexible space for cutting-edge performances. Two multi-purpose spaces - The Room and The Studio - are designed for creative exchange and artistic collaborations. While Lau Bak Livehouse serves an intimate bar-café presenting live music from Hong Kong and around the world.
