Butterfly Beach Park

Situated on the westernmost tip of New Territories, Butterfly Beach Park in Tuen Mun is the closest beach to mainland China. This area is an institution when it comes to barbecuing, with 80 pits neatly laid out in a concrete space. There’s a car park and children’s play area within walking distance and it takes only five minutes to saunter over to the frozen meat stalls in Melody Garden to pick up your favourite tuck. If you don’t feel like leaving after the barbecue, you can also set up camp here or make use of their various sports courts.
