Available every weekend (and public holiday) from midday to 3pm, brunch at Giando is a three-course affair ($348) that takes patrons on a culinary tour of Italy.
Guests can start at the buffet which offers delights like a broad selection of salumi e altro cold cuts – everything from prosciutto to mortadella – as well a variety of cheeses such as mozzarella, ubriaco, Talegio, Parmigiano-Reggiano and smoky scamorza. Elsewhere, the egg station serves up a series of brunch classics like frittatas and the ever-impressive soft egg on seasonal greens.
Next up, the mains come divided into light, primi and secondo options and are ordered à la carte. Take your pick from the likes of carpaccio di Manzo (+$58), made up of beef carpaccio on rocket leaves, with shaved parmesan and a lemon dressing; lasagne verdi alla Bolognese; or the hearty duo of lamb roasted leg and chop (+$78).
Finish up with a range of classic desserts that includes homemade gelato, panna cotta, tiramisu and mousse di cioccolato.
If you need something to wash all that down with, two-hours free-flow beer or prosecco is yours for an extra $188.
