Lee Youngji 2024 world tour All Or Nothing

The K-culture president herself, Lee Youngji, is coming back to Hong Kong in November as part of her upcoming world tour! This comes hot on the heels of the release of her first EP ‘16 Fantasy’ in June, and fans are definitely going to be treated to both Youngji’s powerful rapping and signature chaotic brand of humour. If you don’t know much else besides her hilarious online talk show Not Much Prepared, then this concert is the perfect chance to get acquainted with one of South Korea’s brightest young talents. Tickets range from $999 for general standing to $1,699 for the VIP package, which includes early entry, access to the pre-show soundcheck, a group photo session with Lee herself, a VIP-exclusive postcard, and a dedicated VIP lane to buy merch. Live Nation members can access the pre-sale on September 25 at 3pm, while general sales open on September 26.

James Blunt ‘The Who We Used To Be’ tour

English singer-songwriter James Blunt is returning to Hong Kong towards the end of this year! The singer of the early noughties’ hit You’re Beautiful will take the stage at AsiaWorld-Expo, following the release of his seventh studio album ‘Who We Used to Be’ last year. Judging from accounts of the tour, which is already ongoing through Europe, fans can expect to hear a good mix of uptempo songs, the soulful ballads that Blunt is most known for, and some of his trusty classics. Apart from You’re Beautiful, highlight tracks of this concert include Glow, Postcards, his debut single High, and Dark Thought (which was written for his friend and actor Carrie Fisher as he came to terms with her passing). Tickets run from $980 to $1,380, and are on sale now.

Cigarettes After Sex Asia Tour

Following the announcement that their new LP X’s will be dropping on July 12, Cigarettes After Sex will also be going on a world tour that will extend into 2025. The band’s slowcore, raw, pop sound is gradually drawing from slow dance inspiration from the 70s and 80s. Their music has always been easy to sink into with a sensuality that has become part of their signature sound. As the trio will only arrive in town on tour early next year, ticketing details have yet to be announced, but check back for updates!

Day6 Forever Young world tour

Four-piece boy band Day6 have already embarked on their third world tour since September, spanning Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, and three Indonesian locations. After playing in Singapore and Bangkok in November, they will then start the new year on a Hong Kong stage, so mark your calendars for January 26, 2025. We’re still waiting for ticketing details to be released – keep an eye on this space.

The Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show

The world-class equestrian event, Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show, is making its debut on our home turf from February 14 to 16, 2025, at the AsiaWorld-Expo. This international jumping event will feature outstanding horses and riders from around the world, equestrian displays, dressage, a national show jumping competition, and a series of entertainment events. This event is co-organised by the same people behind the prestigious London International Horse Show, which first began in 1907 – its present format has run every year for nearly 50 years since 1972. Throughout the three days, there will be five arena performances, each featuring a five-star international show jumping class, two equestrian displays, and two additional show jumping sessions or dressage displays. 30 five-star show jumpers will be competing to take home approximately $6.5 million, and 10 of the world’s best ‘power jumpers’ will also take part in the Puissance (essentially the horse version of the Olympics high jump) and other power competitions. Look out also for the Shetland Pony Grand National, where the small ponies will compete like their racehorse counterparts, but over small brush fences. They will then be joined by a performance by Spanish equestrian artist Santi Serra and his four Arabian horses. Aside from the main show, there will also be a luxury lifestyle shopping village with more than 100 shops offering food, fashion, homeware, and equestrian goods, as well as a chefs’ kitchen wher

Russell Peters Relax world tour

Canadian comic Russell Peters is kicking off the Asia leg of his world tour in Hong Kong, and very aptly on April Fool’s Day next year, no less. The last time he was in town was during his Act Your Age tour early last year, and it’ll be great to see his observational comedy on cultural and ethnic stereotypes again. The multi award-winner was the first comedian ever to get a Netflix Original comedy special made, and is perhaps best known for his punchline imitating an Indian father “Somebody gonna get a hurt real bad.” Tickets are priced at $799 and $999 for the fully seated show. The artist pre-sale begins on November 5 at 10am, while the Live Nation member pre-sale will start on November 6 at 3pm. General sales will then begin on November 7 at 3pm.
