The AIA Carnival is back for the season! Set by the Central Harbourfront against our iconic skyline, the carnival features all your favourite thrill rides, game booths, circus acts, and more plush toys than both of your arms can carry. If you're just as excited as we are, read on for everything you need to know about dates and opening hours, tickets, attractions and entertainment, and more.

Dates and opening hours

The AIA Carnival will officially open on December 21 at 4pm and will run until February 25, 2024. Opening hours for off-peak days are from 12 noon to 10pm, and on standard or peak days, the carnival will open from 11am to 11pm.

Here's a list of day types for December, January, and February:

December

Off-peak: Dec 21-22
Standard: Dec 23, 27-30
Peak: Dec 24-26, 31

January

Off-peak: Jan 2-5, 8-11, 15-17, 19, 22-26, 29-31
Standard: Jan  6-7, 13-14, 20-21, 27-28
Peak: Jan 1
(Closed to the public on Jan 12 and 18)

February

Off-peak: Feb 1-2, 5-9, 19-22
Standard: Feb 3-4, 15-18, 23-25
Peak: Feb 10-14

Ticket types and prices

Tickets for the carnival are already on sale. You can purchase them online through the carnival's official website or at designated ticketing booths at the carnival. 

See below for the different ticket types and prices for online purchases:

Adult 

Off-peak days: $140
Standard Days: $150
Peak Days: $160
(Inclusive of 10 tokens)

Concession 

Off-peak days: $95
Standard Days: $100
Peak Days: $110
(Children aged 3 to 11 and visitors with disabilities; inclusive of 7 tokens)

Token packages (admission not included)

20 tokens: $180
50 tokens: $ 450

Attractions and entertainment

This year's carnival will feature over 26 fairground rides, carnival game booths with adorable soft toys waiting for you to take home, and a variety of food and drink options to keep you fueled throughout the day.

Don't miss The World Circus, where international acts will put on exciting performances for the audience; as well as Live At The Big Top and Centre Stage, featuring live music performances, interactive events, and immersive experiences for all.
