Death of a Loyal Warrior (Cantonese Opera Young Talents Showcase)

Part of Phase 1 of Yau Ma Tei Theatre's Young Talent Showcase, Death Of A Loyal Warrior centres around the character of Xiaoyuan during a rough patch in the Ming Dynasty. The story follows the politically and bureaucratically savvy Xiaoyuan as he is unceremoniously ambushed and relieved of his post thanks to the machinations of the incompetent emperor's father-in-law, and the ensuing revenge plots.
