Jumping on the bandwagon of self-service Japanese restaurants, this TST eatery allows diners to select their desired cuts of US angus beef from a touch-screen monitor. From tenderloin to beef cheek, all come in three weights – 200g, 300g and 400g – and are served at a default rare on a heated lava stone that lets you cook the meat further to your desired doneness. Cuts start as low as $78 and there’s also a daily A4 wagyu special that starts from $188 for 100g. Tack on an extra $30 for unlimited servings of rice, pasta or mashed potatoes, as well as soup and salad.
