Summer in the city is an exciting time for foodies, with plenty of new dining experiences to enjoy. One such experience not to be missed is the special four-hands dinner at Whisk, The Mira's innovative French-Japanese restaurant. This exclusive dinner is happening for two nights only and features a collaboration with Italy's one Michelin-starred contemporary restaurant, Paolo Griffa al Caffè Nazionale. Owner and chef Paolo Griffa will be appearing for the first time in Hong Kong, bringing with him the rich gourmet heritage and flavours of the mountainous Aosta Valley region, located on the borders of France and Switzerland.
Together with Whisk's talented chef William Lau, the duo will present a ten-course dinner menu ($1,688) that showcases the seasonality of ingredients and time-intensive craft preparation. The menu will feature signature dishes from both chefs, highlighting their unique styles and culinary backgrounds. Dishes from chef Griffa’s lineup will include a purple dish served with potato and red cabbage as well as a modern twist on risotto featuring a Marc Chagall-inspired blue and gold rice. Chef Lau’s signature dishes for the menu will include barbeque pigeon with charcoal grilled berries and grilled Gillardeau oyster with nori and verjuice.
