Twin chefs and entrepreneurs Joshua and Caleb Ng present their latest culinary project, Vivant. The guys behind Cut Sando Sound Bar are now turning towards a different direction, with the help of Jeston Chua, ex Belon and Bâtard chef, to bring modern European bistronomy to Lyndhurst Terrace. The intimate space only seats 20 guests and offers an a la carte menu that can be paired with natural wines. Our favourite dishes from the menu include the flavourful potato mille-feuille smoked eel rillette, creamy tortellini with green pea and parmesan sauce, and threadfin fish with piperate and fondant potato – the fish practically melts in your mouth. Finish off with a poached pear and horchata ice cream, or order the freshly baked cornbread coffee maple syrup butter. Along with the carefully curated wines, the restaurant serves an eclectic selection of beverages, including craft beers, ciders, and non-alcoholic drinks.
