Tsukiji

While it may look like a tiny shop from the outside, Tsukiji actually has a cosy upstairs area that can seat around 20. There's an extensive menu of sushi and sashimi, with some incredible value sushi sets ($68 for ten-piece, $268 for 48 piece), while there is a decent selection of hot dishes, too. Most of the customers are regulars, and it's easy to see why. Meal for one: around $75.
