For those of you who’re unfamiliar with the name, Tamago-en is a popular egg-themed restaurant in Singapore which entered the Hong Kong foodie scene in December 2019. Using only the freshest eggs imported from Okinawa, this well-known eatery successfully highlights the humble egg through various authentic Japanese dishes, including its omurice that comes with not one, not two, but three rich sauces (from $98 to $118). To be honest, we’d love a slightly larger portion because everything on the plate – from the silky smooth egg omelette to the decadent stuffing in between – is so egg-traordinarily delicious that we simply can’t get enough.
