After its short-lived opening in 2020, Black Sheep Restaurants' eight-seater omakase restaurant Sushi Haru reopens its doors beside teppanyaki restaurant Crown Super Deluxe. Chef Motoharu Inazuka (now heading Sushi Hare) is replaced by chef Hirokuni Shiga, a Sendai native, who brings his decades of experience to the restaurant. We have yet to check out the offerings, but we're hoping it's better than when it first opened in Hong Kong. The restaurant will feature fresh seafood from merchants across Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Tokyo through their Edomae-style – made by treating the fish with salt, vinegar, or soy sauce – omakase menu ($2488 per guest).
