After garnering plenty of praise for her catering concept, banker-turned-chef Stephanie Wong has finally opened a brick-and-mortar incarnation of Roots Eatery. Inspired by her late grandmother, Wong plates up home-style Cantonese dishes, which are informed by her French culinary training at institutions such as Alain Ducasse’s Hostellerie De Plaisance in France and Amber in Hong Kong.
