A gem of a Vietnamese cafe, Potàuphở on Happy Valley's Yik Yam Street offers everything you'd want from an establishment of its kind: good banh mi – we recommend the succulent grilled pork sandwich – Vietnamese spring rolls, good coffee, and of course, pho. As the name suggest, the Vietnamese breakfast noodle dish takes centre stage here. The broth is mild and not overpowering, allowing the incredibly tender beef to shine through. Enjoy the medium rare or cooked beef pho – or anything else on offer for that matter – in open, minimalist, pastel coloured surroundings.
