Owned by F&B industry veteran, a passionate and sociable Abruzzo native, Gian Franco Razzani (formerly from Gaia Group, Black Sheep Restaurants, and Il Bel Paese), Oro is the newest Italian restaurant to join the city's dining scene. Oro means gold in Italian, and for Franco, it represents a culmination of his goals and achievements. Inspired by memories of his nonna and his ancestors who moved from Italy to America, the restaurant offers a slice of Manhattan complemented by Italian family traditions, nestled amidst Hong Kong's cosmopolitan landscape.
Taste elevated American-Italian cuisine presented in Manhattan elegance. Standout dishes include starters like St. Jacques & Caviale Osietra made with sashimi-grade scallops and 10 grams of premium Oscietra caviar, and Gambero Rosso & Foie Gras with raw Sicilian red prawn and seared foie gras. Other must-try dishes include mouthwatering lobster and foie gras risotto and homemade guitar pasta served with king crab and fresh Datterini tomatoes. Wash them all down with their classic cocktail riffs, or pair your dishes with the extensive list of Italian wines. After your meal, head to the upper floor and grab some drinks at their sister bar, Top Town.
