Housed above the rowdy and casual ground-level Okra Kitchen izakaya, Okra Bar is a cool dining spot that’s perfect for those who want to impress their foodie friends. Up to eight guests can sit around the white-tile counter, over which Chef Max Levy serves an expertly crafted omakase dinner designed around what’s fresh and in season. Expect to find dishes featuring seasonal vegetables – some grown on Okra’s own rooftop garden – as well as 10-12 pieces of sushi, among other items. Sake pairings are highly recommended.
